Letter Z

Trying to be creative, I have taught Amanda how to make some handicrafts on the letter Z today. Frankly I have been very remorseful about not spending fruitful time expanding her learning curve since the birth of Amelia.

We made zebra out of toilet roll and the emphasis is definitely the letter Z. Amanda is so proud of her Zebra. Using finger paints, I made her paint through the letter Z with fingers.

Also made meimei sit down on her high chair doing her hand paint. She couldn't even sit for a minute. At the end of the session, I was the one using her hand to do it. Couldn't lay her fingers flat and opening her palm wide, she was merely scratching the paper. As fierce as a roaring tiger! Sleepyhead lah!
More photos of Amanda's enjoyment!

Amelia trying eat Rusk!

Sigh! As usual she slept nearing 2 hours. Just woke up. I fed her with some teething rusk. Before when she was about 6 months, she couldn't bite as she has no teeth and she would throw it bcos she tried and it was really tough job biting rusk as thick as tree trunk and as hard as a rock. Well it is meant for teething babies. Now at nearly 9 mths, she is able to bite til it is crumble and it is all on her walker desk. Got to clean mess again. For all that u know, about less than 10mins, she don't want the rusk and started to wail for milk. She started pulling ears and hair for what she really wants. Sometimes I wondered if this is blessing that Amelia is such expressive bb or it is really anxiety to see her behaving this way. My friends always tell me that they will grow up, they will grow up.

Trying to Juggle

Hot day! I'm still on my blog fever. Editing bit by bit and everywhere. Trying to load some photos. I have a whole of backlogs. But I think I will try to work on it daily at least for an hour in the day and probably longer in the wee hours.
Peeking into many other mummies' blog. and I really think that I'm not running my extra mile for the kids. Saluted mummies whom really able to exercise time equilibrium. I read this blog about a mummy in Australia, with 2 kids. Able to juggle between housework, homeschooling, cooking and still able to bake. I'm kinda feeling so guilty and not doing my bit as a SA HM for the past 2 years.

I was always circled by housework and lost my focus on my purpose of changing my career.

Got to see what is DD(Amanda) doing in school for this new school term so that I can try to plan some circulum for her. Stop telling myself that she isn't receptive when I'm terribly rigid in my teaching. Frankly I'm not a creative mum! Help! But Wen, you have to try because this is part of your responsibility as a mum and this job! Hahaha. Sounds like I really work for money. Will try to motivate myself so that 2007 will be a better year for me. Half yearly Resolution!

My First Blog Posting

I have no idea when is this blog fever gonna last but I knew deep in my heart that if I don't start now; I would have to regret it at least for this life. Since I was a little girl, I always try to write diaries but I was never consistent. I could have penned thoughts down for almost more than 3 months with no updates at all.

This is really something real tough as I am a SAHM to manage the family and 2 clingy girls.

Now that I am trying to post this at wee hours. Amanda bb is sleeping next to me at the sofa. She woke up about 10mins ago because the shower rod for curtaining the toilet entrance fell on her head. Poor thing! She wailed only for a while. Probably she's in her deep sleep. I carried her to wee wee. She has been toilet trained for the nite since she was about 4yrs few weeks old. Amanda baby has been good because since then she only wetted less than 5 times on her bed. *wink*. Just have to keep my fingers crossed about this.

Think I really gtg. Amanda is waiting for me to sleep. Elaine, thanks for your inspiring page for Jeriel that starts me with this blogging journey. I will surely (kanbatei=work hard in Japanese).

Gtg. Amelia bb is crying at this wee hour.
